“No exception to Holiness”
Exodus Chapter 4Moses has just received one of the greatest commissions in history. Yet moses had not obeyed all of God’s commands himself, for he has never had his son circumsized. This was a long standing command from God that Moses had ignored. It sounds so silly now to our generation that circumcision is disobedience from God, but it was a command to the Israelites in the Old Testament. Moreover, it sounds crazy that God sees this as a BIG DEAL!!!
However, God does not look at the amount we give every sunday, the color of lies our mouth speaks, the many christian songs that we sing, the charity we do while announcing to the public, He looks at the intents of our Hearts. No matter how small or big the command God is asking us to do, We just have to do it. And that is what happened to Moses, he saw the greatness of his mission that he thinks God would just ignore his disobedience.
We, humans already have it in our nature to ignore or avoid our false actions. Disobedience has taken shelter in our defensive mechanims. With all these disobedience put aside, we come to God with our fake smiles like everything is great and that we are open as we are to HIM. But the truth is, we are always holding on to the doorknob. Ready to shut the door when God tries to correct us.
We cannot never combine the light and the dark. The moon and the sun cannot shine at the same time not the opposites can be similar. We cannot do great and mighty things for God and keep brushing off disobedience. There is no exceptions to Holiness! Whether you are a pastor or a plumber, a missionary or a janitor, God uses these positions as your ministry to show obedience to him in everything we do. To not compromise his commission for us to what we’re doing in the secular.
Let us serve God with a clear and pure conscience, heavenlyward character, and reverence to who He is and what He can do!

The certainty of God’s supply

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19
We all need something and someone in our lives, but most of the times we have more wants of something and someone in our lives. We demand so much from God, although his supplies will never run out. Most of the times, we forget to prioritize the needs and wants, the disposable and discretionary in our lives. But if we face lackness and hopelessness, be encouraged that there is a storehouse that God wants us to draw close to for Him to meet our needs. “Scripture says you will never face a need for which God’s provision is not more than adequate.”
- We need to learn how to trust Go in every single thing we do.
- We need to rely on his power and ability to meet our needs when it is most urgent.
- We need to draw closer to his storehouse where the supplies for our needs can be given.
- We need to learn how to pray when all things seems to be shooting in different directions.
- We need to believe that God’s abundant resources are always available for us.
We are children of a KING, we should not live our lives like beggars. Would people close to you affirm that your life gives evidence of an unwavering belief that God will do what He said?
